Chantal & William’s Wedding Story

Chantal and William are an international couple from Germany and Florida, whose love story began thanks to a little help from their families, and a friendship that had been waiting to bring them together.

Chantal’s sister and her American husband had always believed that Chantal and William, one of her husband’s longtime friends, would be the perfect match. For years, they talked about introducing them, but somehow never actually told either Chantal or William about their plans! Eventually, they decided it was time to make it happen and arranged a trip for everyone to meet.

Before the trip, William reached out to Chantal, and they immediately clicked. Their connection was undeniable, and within their very first week of talking, they were already joking about getting married because they were so completely over the moon for each other.

Neither of them wanted to wait until the planned trip to meet, so Chantal flew to Florida to finally meet William in person. Somehow, meeting face-to-face made everything feel even more perfect. They instantly knew that what they had found in each other was something special, and they didn’t want to waste any more time. They simply wanted to begin their life together.

Having seen Chantal’s sister and brother-in-law have such a wonderful experience getting married in Denmark, the couple knew Denmark could be the perfect place for their own wedding. And it turned out to be everything they had hoped for.

With the help of Marry Abroad Simply, Chantal and William were able to enjoy a smooth and stress-free wedding experience. Leanne was there to guide them throughout the process, regularly checking in to make sure everything was going well and that they were looking forward to their special day.

They exchanged their vows in the beautiful King’s Garden in Copenhagen, surrounded by the charm and beauty of the city. Even the document presentation the day before felt simple and relaxed, allowing them to focus on enjoying their time together.

After the ceremony, they explored Copenhagen with their photographer, capturing beautiful photographs in some of the city’s most memorable locations. One of their favourite parts of the experience was simply walking through Copenhagen and its parks after getting married.

The warmth of the city made their day even more special. As they walked around Copenhagen, people smiled at them, congratulated them, and told them how wonderful they looked. These little moments of kindness added to the magic of an already unforgettable day.

Chantal and William are incredibly grateful to everyone who helped make their wedding possible, especially their families, their witnesses, Chantal’s sister Lena and brother-in-law Lukasz, Leanne, and the entire Marry Abroad Simply team.

Their Copenhagen wedding was more than just a beautiful day, it was the perfect beginning to their life together.

They will always treasure the memories they made in Denmark and are so grateful that a chance introduction, a spontaneous trip to Florida, and a little family matchmaking ultimately led them to each other.
