What documents do you need for a wedding in Denmark?

It depends on your individual situation, but you do not need many. You no longer need a Marital Status document nor your birth certificate
You will need - Passports or EU ID. Residency permit if you are living in a country that is not your home country. VISA for entry into Denmark. Decree or Death certificate if you are previously married.

Katie made a miracle happen. She was able to secure a wedding license in 4 days and book the beautiful Copenhagen City Hall for early the following week. By December 22nd, the couple was happily married. Katie made every possible effort to make sure the couple’s dream became a reality, including be available to answer messages at all times of day and night (we live in a completely different time zone) through WhatsApp. Katie simplified the process for us, knew exactly how to present every document to avoid problems down the road, and advised us on all details, even those that I was going to handle myself.
