Odense is Denmarks third largest city with a bustling city centre offering lots of things to do and see. There is though also a calm natural side to the city on the waters edge. The birth place of Hans Christian Anderson with excellent air, rail and road travel links!
Frederikshavn is in the north Jutland region of Denmark and the translation of its name is 'Freds Harbour' so you can be sure that there are lots of wonderful places for scenic photos with water!
Middelfart is a bit of a hidden gem in Denmark, it is 6 hours from Germany, 2.5 hours from Copenhagen airport, and has the airport of Billund around 1.5 hours. There are weddings in Middelfart daily except for Sunday, and generally witnesses can be provided on weekdays. Great venue for German residents.
Svendborg is actually on the Island of Funen. It is easy to get to by train from Copenhagen, is the gateway to the Island of Aero and has been names "most charming town in Denmark". A surprisingly large town, on the water, and with a lovely (and lively!) Marina.
Aero Island is a stunning place to marry, it is quaint, picturesque, and very very Danish! It is known as the main Danish Wedding Island, or the Danish Island of love - and for good reason. All of our couples who marry there are so happy with the location, and also make a special mention to how wonderful the registrars were. And they are!!
Getting married in Gibraltar is wonderful, this beautiful 'rock' is situated just off the Southern Spanish coast, it is British governed and a stones throw away from the African coast line. This means all year round sunshine and enough love to make sure that you have a wedding day like no other.
Gibraltar is such a magical place to marry and there are so many choices when it comes to what type of wedding you would like! There are 18 licensed places to marry and if you would like to tailor the venue and celebrations, then we will simply ensure that everything is in place and the registrar is there.
Gibraltar has so much to offer... And is famous for the Rock of Gibraltar! So where better to have your wedding in Gibraltar than in a hotel that is actually set in the side of the Rock itself?! And this is also where John & Yoko stayed when they got married in Gibraltar....

Katie made a miracle happen. She was able to secure a wedding license in 4 days and book the beautiful Copenhagen City Hall for early the following week. By December 22nd, the couple was happily married. Katie made every possible effort to make sure the couple’s dream became a reality, including be available to answer messages at all times of day and night (we live in a completely different time zone) through WhatsApp. Katie simplified the process for us, knew exactly how to present every document to avoid problems down the road, and advised us on all details, even those that I was going to handle myself.

If I could rate Marry Abroad Simply more than 5 stars I would! Like many long distance couples, when COVID struck, my now-husband and I were separated indefinitely from each other. We decided to get married so I (an American) could move over to Ireland to be with him. I did some searching on the Internet and came across Marry Abroad Simply and sent a desperate email to Sam who replied quickly and gave us the only spot of hope we'd had during the months of separation by telling us about the possibility of getting married in Gibraltar. Our first wedding date in Gibraltar didn't happen because of a flight cancellation. Leanne was very helpful in getting things rescheduled for a new date! After rounds of paperwork we were still unable to get married in a reasonable timeframe in Germany because we are both from third countries that are doing awful with corona and not from the EU. This makes it almost impossible to be together or marry. After a friend had a quick, easy, and wonderful experience with this company we decided to give it a try. Leanne was very patient with us and helped us look into many options before we found one that would work. She offered solutions and was always available whenever we needed her. The location we went to, Stevns Denmark, was super quaint and beautiful, and traveling 5 minutes to the seaside was well worth it. We were greeted on a Saturday by the mayor herself who married us. They were so hospitable and welcoming at Stevns and gave us a special gift from their town! The ceremony was meaningful but also very fast, 10 minutes in total. As an aside I do recommend double checking all paperwork received immediately after the ceremony. We were just feeling good and taking pictures and then noticed our paperwork was incorrect for our personal information on the certificate. We managed to track down the mayor at another ceremony and they were quite helpful, fixing our paperwork for us on a Saturday for which we were grateful. Overall this was an amazing and wonderful experience filled with solutions to any of our problems that came up or any hurdles we had been trying to manage. If you are having difficulties getting married or wish to do so without any fuss, this is the right agency for you!
