Aalborg is a wonderful town in the stunning area of North Jutland, it is a four hour drive from Copenhagen (this is a very beautiful scenic route) and it will take about 4 hours on a direct train route. From Germany the journey is slightly shorter if you are driving as it will take you just over 3 hours! You are driving through the centre of the Southern Jutland, Central Jutland and North Jutland so don’t forget your camera!
Aalborg itself has everything beaches, wildlife, a busy town centre, a stunning port area and even a zoo!
There is certainly something for everyone here and to wander to the waterfront area on an evening is perfect.
The town is a perfect mixture of old and new Denmark, with the wonderful coloured buildings on cobbled streets.
Couples often describe weddings here as romantic and peaceful, with the town hall’s atmosphere lending itself to memorable ceremonies for both intimate gatherings and slightly larger parties.
