Fano Island is about 3 hours from Copenhagen and also 3 hours from the German border, and as it is facing the North Sea to the west the atmosphere and light is amazing.

It is based in Jutland and easy to get to from the ferry in Esbjerg, which only takes 15 minutes, and you can take your car. The town hall is lovely and quaint and the registrars are wonderful (yes all the Danish registrars are wonderful in all locations, and they really really are!), and you can even take your dog if you want!

Getting there by train or car is easy as it is on all the main roads and rail lines.

This small island is perfect for those couples that want a unique wedding experience, we can even arrange for a ceremony on the beach be it for just you or you and your loved ones.

After the ceremony, you can stay on the island and explore the surrounding areas and really taste a slice of Danish Island life, or you can hop back to the main land and have a taste of the city in Ribe or Esbjerg.
