Megan & Mark’s Wedding in Denmark

Mark and Megan met on the dating app Hinge on 22 February 2021. They immediately hit it off and quickly moved to texting and talking by phone. They met in person a few days later, and have been in a relationship ever since. The romantic aspect developed quickly, and within days they were focused on building a meaningful life together. They never went a day without talking on the phone and texted constantly when they weren’t asleep. They also spent time together in person several days a week, and ultimately moved in together on 31 October 2021.

Mark knew from day one, and Megan from day 37, that this was a once in a lifetime relationship. Having lived together for three years, they had the chance to partner on some of life’s challenges (elder parents) and celebrate successes (job promotions). In fact, they feel like they have been together much longer than they have been, which is how they knew that they were ready to make things permanent by becoming officially married.

There are several reasons that Mark and Megan wanted to get married in Denmark. After visiting Copenhagen for work, Megan fell in love with the people and the beauty of the city. Mark, whose dad was in the Air Force, grew up in Augsburg, Germany, and he always wanted to return and explore the regions that he often visited while growing up. The opportunity to start a new life together in a place full of happy memories and experiences for both, made Denmark the perfect venue
