Neil and Luis’s love story began at sea, aboard the iconic Pacific Princess, famously known as the original Love Boat. At the time, Neil was working as Cruise Director, while Luis was part of the culinary team as a chef. Their paths first crossed during a crew event, and not long after, they shared their first date in Ireland, a moment that marked the beginning of something truly special.

From the very start, their connection was effortless and genuine. As their relationship grew, life presented them with an important decision. Neil was promoted to Entertainment Director, a role that would normally place them on separate ships. After careful thought, they chose a different path, one that allowed them to stay together. Luis became Neil’s nominated travel partner, giving them the rare opportunity to continue their journey side by side.

Over the next seven years, they shared an extraordinary life filled with travel, adventure, and deep commitment. Along the way, they became part of each other’s families, spending meaningful time together in both the UK and Mexico. Their bond grew stronger with every shared experience, making the decision to marry a natural and joyful next step.

When it came time to plan their wedding, Neil and Luis chose Denmark for its welcoming spirit and simplicity for international couples.
