It is appreciated that for dog owning couples a dog is more than a pet, it is a member of the family, like a child and a real fur baby, truly mans (and womans!) best friend. The thought of not having one of the biggest days of your life without your dog present is unthinkable and not even an option.

Rest assured it is fine for you to bring your fur baby along and they are allowed in some town halls (ask your wedding planner in Denmark for details of which), they are allowed in the ceremony room and they even get given treats and drinks! There are also many Dog friendly Hotels and Dog friendly restaurants all over Denmark.

Katie made a miracle happen. She was able to secure a wedding license in 4 days and book the beautiful Copenhagen City Hall for early the following week. By December 22nd, the couple was happily married. Katie made every possible effort to make sure the couple’s dream became a reality, including be available to answer messages at all times of day and night (we live in a completely different time zone) through WhatsApp. Katie simplified the process for us, knew exactly how to present every document to avoid problems down the road, and advised us on all details, even those that I was going to handle myself.
