Things to be aware of

 

• At least one nights stay in Gibraltar is required for you to marry in Gibraltar, and evidence of this needs to be shown at document presentation.
• Document presentation is the business morning before the wedding
• You need to be in possession of the originally issued originals of all documents, or certified copies from office of original issue (anything copied or laminated originals are not accepted)
• Marriage certificates are issued roughly 8 weeks after your wedding
• Witnesses are not included, you need 2 for each wedding, we can organise you them and there is a local cash charge of £25 for each on the day for time and travel, they are always happy to take photos and videos for you on your devices.
• Our service includes a letter issued on the day from the Civil status office to confirm you are married. If you take the added legalisation service this includes as well as the Apostille legalisation, also the courier of the documents back to you with DHL which is faster and more secure as it is tracked.
