Denmark is split into five regions, and the Copenhagen region or the Capital region is on the island of Amagar and is one that a lot of International couples focus on when looking to get married in Denmark, for those couples that are arriving from other countries by plane then it is the perfect area as Copenhagen airport has daily direct routes to all major airports in the world.
So if you are looking for a quick and easy wedding, with very little documents then it is the perfect region to look for.

So of course we have the wonderful Copenhagen to marry in and in Central Copenhagen there are 2 amazing town halls, Copenhagen City Hall and Frederiksberg Town Hall. For detailed information on these please read the blogs.

If you fancy a coastal setting then you can travel to the wonderful Helsingor this is very close to Sweden and you can even see Sweden and get there on a 20 minute ferry ride, which is ideal if you are travelling from Sweden for your wedding. There is the gorgeous Frederikssund which is on the western side of the island, facing the largest island in Denmark if Jutland. This is a stunning town with a water way running by is only 40 minutes by car from Copenhagen.
And then there is the stunning island of Bornholm, this is a short plane flight from Copenhagen as it is in the Baltic sea or you can drive in 4 hours and cross the amazing bridge to the island. It is well worth the extra journey as I hope you can see from our blog!

All in all there are 17 town halls within 30 minutes of the centre of Copenhagen each of them are lovely towns in beautiful surroundings;
